The power of Dragons...
COURAGE, ENTHUSIASM, TENACITY, AND PERSISTENCE
We are all paddling through the pain.
Some of us have paddled longer and further.
Others are beginning the journey.
Some have taken a first step into the dragon boat.
Some can paddle no longer.
The stroke seat sets the rhythm and timing……… in together, catch together………… Eyes up…………ready and reach……
We have all faced the white bone truth of reaching for life……….
Choosing life with our eyes focused up and forward.
One great truth holds through all this…
We need each other.
The boat is only as steady as the occupants, aware of each other, mind and body.
Without unity there is no forward motion, no surge through life, no race to the finish, no dock to rest at safely.
The heart of the dragon can only beat with strength if we are all pulling together, supporting each other.
Let us not lose sight of our purpose and our inspiration.
